All Lanes of Savannah’s Talmadge Bridge Now Open
All lanes of the Talmadge Bridge are shut down due to an accident involving two tractor trailers.
The Talmadge Bridge has been re-opened in both directions according to Metro Police. Early this morning two tractor-trailers collided. Traffic from South Carolina had to be re-routed for several hours and northbound lanes into South Carolina had been closed periodically as the clean up progressed. The fuel tank on one of the semis was ruptured which caused further clean-up problems.
