Kim joined the News 3 team in November 1993. Since that time, she has been waking folks up around the Coastal Empire and Low Country as Morning Anchor of WSAV's News 3 Today program. A native Savannahian, Kim was educated in Chatham County's public school system. She's a proud graduate of Herschel V. Jenkins High School and Savannah State University's Upward Bound Program. Kim received her undergraduate education at Georgia Southern University where she obtained her BS degree in Communication Arts.

A "homegrown product", Kim believes in giving back to her community. When she's not on the air, you can find her in local classrooms speaking to area students, or doing volunteer work. Through Savannah's Christian Revival Center, Kim has been a part of a number of missions to Haiti, where she helped provide food and clothing to some of the nation's children.

In 1998, Kim was listed as an "Outstanding Young American". She is also a former instructor with the King-Tisdell Cottage Foundation's "Legacy" Black History program. Kim currently sits on the board of the Carver Heights Stallions Athletics Organization. It's no wonder that Kim is one of the most popular news anchors in the Savannah market and a valuable member of the WSAV News 3 team.
