David Ernst is the weekend meteorologist for WSAV. He joined Storm Team 3 in September of 2008. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree.

After college, David worked as a meteorologist in Hastings, Nebraska for two years. Although he moved to Savannah from the Midwest, David has always considered the South home. He grew up in Greenville, South Carolina, and is looking forward to the mild southern winters.

When he's not tracking hurricanes and severe storms or forecasting, you can usually find him on the golf course, at the beach or grilling out.
