Santa and Volunteers to Wrap and Deliver Gifts to Lonely Seniors in Chatham, Beaufort and Jasper Cou
Tuesday, November 25, 2008 – Armed with ribbon, wrapping paper and plenty of holiday spirit, local volunteers soon will gather to wrap and deliver hundreds of gifts for isolated and forgotten seniors in Chatham, Beaufort and Jasper counties. Santa will join volunteers to deliver gifts beginning Thursday, Dec. 11. It’s all part of the annual “Be a Santa to a Senior” program, sponsored by Home Instead Senior Care in Savannah and Hilton Head Island.
