Update 7am: One of the injured victims in yesterday’s shooting at Fort Hood has died bringing the death toll at this point to 13.

The community of Fort Hood, Texas is mourning over the loss of twelve people killed and thirty-one wounded in a mass shooting by an Army Major.

A yield sign will be moved soon at a Fort Stewart intersection to change the right-of-way and create better traffic flow.

Historic site to be cut to three days a week

In a little more than a year, the 3rd Infantry Division is expected to grow by almost a 20 percent of Fort Stewart’s current troop strength. 

Readiness for up-coming deployments, preparations for the 5th Brigade Combat Team and maybe an opportunity to host American’s new commander in chief top the 2009 to-do list for Fort Stewart’s commanding officer.
