The Liberty Humane Society is a finalist in Zootoo’s Million Dollar Makeover contest.  But they need the community’s support to win.

The woman who may have been Liberty County’s oldest living resident has died.  Flora “Hansie” Sharpe Troha died Tuesday at Coastal Manor Nursing Home. 

Company officials are not confirming it, but media reports nataionwide say Goody’s Family Clothing Stores is liquidating its assets, which means the Hinesville store will close.
