None of the 11,000 Beaufort County residents whose car tags expire this month has been mailed vechicle renewal notices from the county Auditor’s Office.

If you paid your Beaufort County automobile property taxes and vehicle registration renewal fees in June or July and still haven’t received new license tags and decals in the mail, take a number.

It’s time for South Carolina hunters and anglers to purchase their 2009-2010 hunting and fishing licenses. Last season’s licenses expire June 30.

Next time you get inyour car and have a license plate frame installed, you may be in violation of the law and not even know it.  It’s an old law in South Carolina but it’s getting a lot of new attention.  Officers say drivers typically aren’t aware that if the license plat frame covers certain aspects of the plate, they’re breaking the law.  They add even out of state drivers wil not be excused if they are caught in violation.
