Part of Park Plaza is getting a makeover, and this time the rest of the shopping center’s tenants are on board. The south Hilton Head Island shopping center with a notoriously confusing parking lot will be reconfigured once Harris Teeter builds its new store.

The Liberty County Humane Shelter is a national finalist in a makeover contest. 

The shelter is participating in a contest sponsored by Zootoo, hoping to raise awareness for needy animals and increase adoptions.

The Liberty Humane Shelter is in the running to receive a million dollar makover.
