In order to guarantee monthly cardholders a parking space, parking will be limited Monday, March 16. Tuesday, March 17, parking will be available to cardholders until 8:30am then opened to the public.

Friday, March 13, 5pm until Saturday at 8am, parking will be $10. Vehicles exiting after 8am on Sunday will be charged an additional $10
Saturday, March 14, 8am until 5pm, parking will be $5. After 5pm until Sunday at 8am, parking will be $10. Vehicles exiting after 8am on Sunday will be charged an additional $10
Sunday, March 15, 8am until Monday at 8am, parking will be $10. Vehicles exiting after 8am on Monday will be charged the daily rate of $1.00 per hour.
Tuesday, March 17, 8:30am until Wednesday at 8am, parking will be $10. Vehicles exiting after 8am on Wednesday will be charged the daily rate of $1.00 per hour.

Friday, March 13, beginning at 5pm until 8am Sunday, March 15, parking will be $15 per day. Vehicles exiting after 8am Monday, March 16 will be charged the daily rate of $2.00 per hour.
Monday, March 16, beginning at 5pm through Tuesday, March 17, parking will be $15 per day. Vehicles exiting after 8am Wednesday, March 18 will be charged the daily rate of $2.00 per hour.
Visitor's Center Lot
The Visitors Center lot will be available for parking at 7am, Tuesday, March 17. Vehicles parking before 7am must purchase a pass. The parking fee will be $10.00 per vehicle. Vehicles not displaying a pass are subject to being cited.
RV and Motor Coach parking is permitted and limited during the festival. The parking fee is $10.00 per day per vehicle and/or vehicle in tow. Parking passes can be purchased Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, March 13 & 14 and 16 & 17, for the festival. Please see the Parking Attendant in the control booth at the exit gate. If an RV/Motor Coach or a vehicle leaves during the festival, their parking space is not guaranteed. Please park properly to avoid being cited. Please put all trash in the trash receptacles.
Civic Center Lot will be closed to the public Tuesday, March 17, due to staging for the parade.
On-Street Parking
Parking is prohibited in the marshaling areas and on the parade route. Parking meters in these areas will be bagged the night before. Areas without meters will be appropriately barricaded and signs will be posted. Vehicles parked in the prohibited zones will be towed beginning at 6:00am on parade day. On-street, metered parking will be free Saturday, March 14, Sunday, March 15 and Tuesday, March 17.
ST. PATRICK'S FESTIVAL - SHUTTLE INFO
Round-Trip St. Patrick’s Day Parade ShuttleThe City of Savannah will operate the Round Trip St. Patrick’s Day Parade Shuttle from Oglethorpe Mall to downtown on Tuesday, March 17.
The cost to ride the shuttle is $5 round trip per adult. Children under 41 inches are free. There is a limit of two free children per paying customer.
Tickets will be sold at the Oglethorpe Mall ONLY and will be available from Tuesday, March 17 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets can be purchased onsite at the shuttle location under the parking deck near J.C. Penney’s at the Oglethorpe Mall.
Shuttles will leave the Oglethorpe Mall and stop downtown at Oglethorpe Avenue and Houston Street. The schedule for the shuttle is:
· 7:30 a.m. first trolley leaves Oglethorpe Mall
· 1 p.m. last trolley leaves Oglethorpe Mall
· 5 p.m. last trolley leaves Oglethorpe Avenue and Houston Street to return to Oglethorpe Mall
Wheelchair lift-equipped trolleys will be available.
No alcohol or disorderly conducted allowed on board. All items (cooler, chairs, strollers, etc) must fit under your seat or on your lap.
Savannah International Trade and Convention Center Parade Parking
Parking for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be available at the Trade and Convention Center beginning at 7 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17. A parking fee of $10 per vehicle will include a round trip on the water ferry for vehicle passengers.
PLEASE NOTE: The Trade Center Parking Lot will not admit vehicles after 3pm on Tuesday, March 17. The water ferry will continue operations until midnight on for the convenience of Trade Center and Westin guests.
dot-Downtown Transportation
The River Street Streetcar will not operate on Saturday, March 14 or Tuesday, March 17. Additionally, the dot shuttle will not operate on Tuesday, March 17. If you have any questions regarding dot service, please contact Rick Jones at 447-4026.
Fixed Chatham Area Transit Downtown Routes
For $1 per trip, the public may catch any of CAT’s fixed bus routes from Friday, March 13 thru Tuesday, March 17. Most of the routes take passengers to the MLK Jr. Blvd./Broughton Street vicinity. East/Southside buses alight and board passengers at Oglethorpe Avenue and Price Street. Below are some of the major routes into downtown:
· 10-East Savannah and the 24-Savannah State/Wilmington Island: Wilmington Island residents can catch these buses from the Island Towne Centre area.
· 17-Silk Hope/Savannah Festival Outlet: From the Savannah Festival Factory Outlet/Hwy. 17-Hwy. 204 Super Wal-Mart area, passengers may catch this route.
· 14-Abercorn: Southside residents may catch this bus from the Savannah Mall area or from the bus stop at the rear of Savannah Mall.
· 11 Candler and 31-Skidaway/Sandfly/Oglethorpe Mall serves the Skidaway Road area.
· 27 Waters Road or 28-Waters Road: Serves the Waters Road area.
· 2-West Chatham or 3A and 3B-Augusta Avenue: Westside residents will find these buses a convenient way to get downtown.
Please note that bus stops for the 14 Abercorn and 27 Waters Road routes will shift from under the Oglethorpe Mall parking deck to Hodgson Memorial from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17 while the City of Savannah-operated St. Patrick’s Day shuttle is in service.
On Tuesday, March 17, regular fixed-route CAT bus service will be on a weekday schedule. CAT offices at 900 E. Gwinnett Street will be opened from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. for ticket/token/swipe card sales. CAT Central, 124 Bull Street, will be opened from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Telephone schedule information will be available from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Due to the parade, buses in downtown will detour from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 5 p.m. Also, the downtown CAT Shuttle in the Historic District will NOT be in service on St. Patrick's Day.
