Area Basketball Star Traded

  In June of 2001, Glynn Academy's Kwame Brown was sitting on top of the basketball world, after being chosen as the Number One overall selection in the NBA Draft by the Washington Wizards. Now less than 7 years later, Kwame will now be playing for his third team.

  Kwame and former Georgia Tech point guard Javaris Crittenton were traded to the Memphis Grizzlies Friday for forward Paul Gasol.

  And the Grizzlies might not be Kwame's last stop, he is in the last year of a 9 million dollar plus contract and it's likely the Grizs won't re-sign him.
