A.D. Carswell Relinquishes his Football Duties

Savannah Country Day School's Mike Carswell has stepped down as head football coach to focus on his position as Athletics Director.

Carswell spent the last nine years on the football staff, including the past two years as head coach.  The Hornets went 5-6 this season, losing in the first round of the playoffs.

"Savannah Country Day School has an outstanding athletic program," says Carswell. "And it's time for me to step down and guide that entire program."

The search for a new head coach is underway.  SCDS hopes to fill the position by February 2nd.
