Beaufort Beats Hilton Head in Dixie Youth Boys
Beaufort beats Hilton Head 9-5 to win District 8.
Michael Perozi knocked in the leading run for Beaufort as the Dixie Youth Boys team never let up and went on to beat Hilton Head 9-5. Beaufort will now head to the South Carolina state tournament in North Augusta.

Beaufort jumped out to an early lead 3-0 on a big hit by Stephen Baggett to score Ryan Day. Hilton Head fought back on a 2-run single by Carlos Pacero scoring Kevin Campbell and Randy Young.
But Perozi’s hit gave Beaufort the lead they wouldn’t give up.
