Anderson’s third round 66 is good enough for eighth place, just three strokes back of the leaders.
Beaufort golf Mark Anderson made the most of “moving day” at The Players Am in Bluffton. Anderson with birdies on three of his first five holes on the West Course at Belfair to get within three strokes heading into tomorrow’s final round. The defending champion is in eighth place, but more importantly within in striking distance of the leader. Bud Cauley at five under par and will tee off in the final group at 11:07 Sunday morning. Savannah’s Brian Harman stands at +7 while Savannah’s Mark Silvers is +10.
