Jenkins’ Starks Signs to Play Volleyball at Fort Valley

Danielle Robyn Starks is the first public school volleyball player in Chatham County to receive a volleyball scholarship in the past 10 years.  Starks will suit up for Fort Valley State University in the Fall.

Danielle Robyn Starks is the first public school volleyball player in Chatham County to receive a volleyball scholarship in the past 10 years.  Starks will suit up for Fort Valley State University in the Fall.

The 2008-09 Region 3-AAAAA Volleyball Player of the Year and Jenkins High School volleyball player since her freshman year
had battled Sickle Cell Anemia since birth.  She has overcome all obstacles to become one of the area’s best student athletes

She played club volleyball for Savannah Club and Coastal Georgia Volleyball.  She led her high school team to a region championship last season with 128 kills, an 89% serving average, 11 blocks, and 182 digs.
