Morrell is Named Savannah’s Most Versatile Athlete

Bethesda Day School senior Jesse Morrell was named the recipient of the 56th annual Ashley Dearing Award.  It’s the first such award given after Mr. Dearing passed away this past year.

Morrell starred on the football field, basketball court and on the track.  Behind Morrell, the Blazers reached the GISA State Playoffs.  He rushed for more than 1,200 yards and scored 11 touchdowns.  His basketball team reached the state championship game.

Morrell plans to attend Livingstone College and play football.
