A.J. Defilippis and Kurvin Curry both have made a claim to be the starter for the Tigers.
The position of starting quarterback at Savannah State continues to be up for grabs. Sophomores A.J. Defilippis and Kurvin Curry are both impressing head coach Robby Wells.

Curry was the starter last season while Defilippis took the reigns in the Spring. That’s when Curry was held out due to academic reasons. The Tigers open up the season in Greenville against Livingstone College September 5th.
