Georgia Southern golfer Ryan Zabroske holds off Savannah’s Wills Smith to win the 2009 Savannah Match Play tournament at Crosswinds Golf Club.

Zabroske built a 2-up lead after seven holes and never let up. Smith was unable to convert several putts through the middle of his round. He did hit a short iron to within a foot of the cup on #13 to trim the lead to 1 hole. But the GSU Eagles senior-to-be from Alpharetta held on for the 1-up win.
