The Effingham County Clash Continues this Friday

South Effingham and Effingham continue their rivalry on the football field this Friday night.  The rivalry dates back to more than a decade.  Last year it once again became a region battle.

South Effingham holds the slight edge 8-7.  The first two years of the battle they played each other twice.  While the Rebels ruled the earlier games, South Effingham has pulled ahead with near dominance in the 2000’s.

The Rebels come into the game having beaten Windsor Forest last Friday.  The Mustangs have won their past three games since losing their season opener.  South Effingham also looks to win the third straigh in the rivalry.
