A.J. Defilippis and Kurvin Curry each shine at SSU’s second scrimmage of Fall camp.
The Savannah State Tigers’ football team bouncing back after a lackluster scrimmage a week ago to put on quite a show Saturday on the practice field at SSU. Coach Robby Wells was more than pleased with his team’s performance.

The Tigers ran the ball efficiently and the QB’s threw a few touchdowns.. something we didn’t see a week ago. Former Benedictine star A.J. Defilippis and Kurvin Curry continue to battle it out for the job as starting quarterback. True Freshman Antonio Bostic also getting a lot of playing time at qb.
The Tigers open up the season in Greenville, South Carolina against Livingstone College.
