New high-tech luggage scanners are being rolled out at New York’s LaGuardia airport.
The new machines now give screeners a high-definition look inside luggage and shoes.
Instead of one image taken from above the machine provides two hi-definition images, one from above, the other from the side.
Screeners say there’s a big difference and that the machines will help speed up lines by reducing the number of bags that must be searched by hand.
