At 232 am edt…National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. These storms were located along a line extending from 18 miles north of Millett to 7 miles north of Herndon…or along a line extending from 7 miles northwest of Barnwell to 15 miles northwest of Millen…moving southeast at 35 mph.
