Weekend Rain Chances
Changes are in the air. Can you feel it?
Personally, I almost always get little headaches before a storm system approaches. Some folks claim to feel it in their bones, and I believe it!
Well, if you’re feeling something, your body is accurate. A cold front is moving in from the northwest, and it could bring a few rain showers on Saturday. When the cold front moves offshore, it will leave behind cooler and drier air.
Here’s the forecast:
For tonight, expect mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance of rain showers. It will stay very mild overnight with lows in the 60s.
On Saturday, the cold front will move into the area. Skies will be mostly cloudy to overcast. There will also be a chance of rain showers. The rain should be light and scattered because the storm system is basically falling apart. It will stay on the warmer side throughout the day with highs in the upper 70s to the lower 80s.
On Saturday night, the storm system/cold front will move offshore. The rain chances will end. The clouds will even begin to decrease. Winds will shift to the north, and this will allow cooler and drier air to return. Our lows will drop to the 50s, which is a ten degree drop from Friday night.
On Sunday, we will see a mix of sun and clouds with cooler afternoon highs in the 70s.
Hope you have a great weekend and keep looking up!
