Wet Drive to Work

Heavy rains led to several pools of water collecting on Savannah roads and elsewhere across the Coastal Empire.  More rain is expected as well as some stronger thunderstorms.  While flooding wasn’t really a problem in Savannah on Wednesday, it could become a problem later in the week.  That will especially be the case south of the Altamaha River where a flood watch is posted.  For more information about that flood watch or any of the flood warnings that are currently in effect for the WSAV viewing you can go to the WSAV Severe Weather Page.  Storm Team 3 will provide the latest updates on WSAV and wsav.com
