Chemical Safety Board Releases Video on Combustible Dust Hazards

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Today the Chemical Safety Board released a new safety video about combustible dust.
For several years now the C.S.B has lobbied for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to adopt dust standards.
A cause brought to the fore front after the deadly and catastrophic explosion at Imperial Sugar last February.
They're hoping this video will help their cause and also encourage businesses to take the necessary precautions.
The video will be distributed to businesses who deal with combustible dust; they can also be requested online.
Also today, Imperial Sugar announced they are once again shipping out bulk granular sugar.
The first bulk truck crossed the scales early Monday morning.
The sugar packaging plant and silos are expected to be completed by the end of the summer.
