Graham's 29 leads Georgia Southern to 77-66 win over Wofford
SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - Louis Graham scored 29 points to lead
Georgia Southern to a 77-66 win over Wofford tonight.
The Eagles (18-8, 11-5 Southern Conference) took the lead for
good about midway through the first half by scoring nine straight
points, including two 3-pointers by Graham.
Georgia Southern led by 10 at the half, but could not pull away.
A lay-up by Noah Dahlman cut the Eagles lead to 53-50 with 8:53
left, but Georgia Southern built its lead back to 11 points in less
than four minutes.
The Terriers (14-12, 7-9) wouldn't get closer than six points
the rest of the game.
The Eagles are second in the SoCon's South Division with a
four-game cushion over Wofford and the College of Charleston with
four games to go. Davidson has clinched the division title.
Dahlman led the Terriers with 13 points, while Drew Gibson added
11 points.
