Savannah Christian Soccer standout Megan Thompson became the second Coastal Empire Area athlete to sign a college scholarship Friday.
Hours after BC's A.J. DeFilippis signed with SSU, Thompson inked a letter of intent to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton.
Thompson turned down an opportunity to play at the University of Georgia to get her career started at ABAC. She does though intend to transfer to Georgia after her two years are completed at ABAC.
