Georgia Southern pulls away in second half to beat The Citadel
CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Louis Graham scored 20 points to lead
Georgia Southern to a 73-52 win over The Citadel today.
The Eagles never trailed after the first four minutes of the
game. They led just 38-35 at the half, but opened the second half
on an 8-2 run.
The Citadel trailed 54-47 with 11:53 to go after Cameron Wells'
three-point play, but Georgia Southern then scored 14 points in a
row to put the game away.
Wells led The Citadel with 16 points, while Tyrell McDowell
added 12 points.
Dwayne Foreman and Willie Powers each added 12 points for
Georgia Southern.
