SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - Ayron Hardy hit a layup with one second remaining after two missed free throws on the other end of the court tonight to lift Jacksonville to a 65-64 victory over Savannah State.

Savannah State (9-14), which led 33-26 at halftime, was ahead 62-58 after Patrick Hardy made two free throws with 21 seconds left after being fouled by Ben Smith.

After Jacksonville (8-8) responded with Marcus Allen's layup, Travis Cohn fouled Joseph Flegler, and Flegler made two free throws with 10 seconds to play, making it 64-60.

Jacksonville put the ball in bounds and Cohn hit a 3-pointer, followed immediately by Smith fouling Raye Bailey, who missed both foul shots. Smith grabbed the rebound and got the ball downcourt to Ayron Hardy, who made the winning shot.

Allen led Jacksonville with 20 points, and Smith had 16.

Lazarius Coleman led the Tigers with 14 points, and Flegler had 13.
