Second Half Rally Lifts Eagles to Road Win!

CULLOWHEE, N.C. (AP) - Louis Graham scored 25 points and Georgia Southern scored the game's final 12 points to beat Western Carolina 69-58 tonight.


Matthew Fields added 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Eagles (14-7, 7-4 Southern Conference), who trailed by 15 points in the first half and 58-57 with 6:43 left.


Dwayne Foreman's jumper put Georgia Southern ahead to stay and Johntavius Rucker's 3-pointer with just over a minute left put the game away.


Western Carolina (6-14, 2-8) missed four shots from the field, a free throw and committed five turnovers in the game-ending run.


Brandon Giles scored 17 points, Jake Robinson scored 12 and Negus McKenna had 10 for the Catamounts, who committed 18 turnovers in their second straight loss.
