Former New York Mets and Yankees star outfielder, Darryl Strawberry, is in Savannah for a few days helping out with the Sand Gnats.
Strawberry serves as a hitting instructor in the Mets organization.
He's lived a colorful life. In the 80's he was one of the best hitters in Major League Baseball. Strawberry has also been on the other end suffering drug addictions.
