KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) - Right-hander Tim Hudson recovered from an uninspiring first inning, and the Atlanta Braves went on to a 10-1 spring exhibition victory over the Philadelphia Phillies today.

Hudson walked one batter and fell behind in the count several times in the first, but wound up allowing just four hits and one run over three frames.

Buddy Carlyle pitched two scoreless innings, striking out three, and newcomer Will Ohman allowed only one hit in an inning for Atlanta.

Kyle Kendrick started for the Phillies and gave up nine hits and seven earned runs in two-and-two-thirds innings -- including five runs in the second.

Mark Teixeira, Joe Borchard and Jeff Francoeur each had two RBI for the Braves. Francoeur doubled for the fifth time this spring. Brent Lillibridge -- filling in for Chipper Jones at third base -- was 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs.

Braves manager Bobby Cox said Jones may be ready to play when the Braves travel to Lakeland on Thursday to play the Tigers. Jones tweaked a hamstring during a weekend batting practice session.
