The Atlanta Falcons have traded one of their most popular and outspoken players.
On Thursday, they dealt cornerback DeAngelo Hall to the Oakland Raiders for a pair of picks in the upcoming NFL draft.
The contract signed by Hall is reportedly a seven year deal, worth $64 million, with $24 million in guaranteed money.
In exchange, the Falcons pick up the Raiders' second round pick, the 34th overall, as well as an additional late round selection in next month's draft.
The corner had a falling out with the team and coaches over personnel decisions last season and was one of the reasons the trade was prompted.
Hall was drafted by the Falcons in the first round of the 2004 draft out of Virginia Tech and was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2005 & 2006.
