Mark Silvers entered the final round of the 2008 Savannah City Amateur with the lead.  He finished the final round with a share of the lead.  But in the end Wills Smith was too tough, making birdie on the first playoff hole to win the tournament.

John Skeadas II and his son, John Skeadas III, finished in a tie for third place just two strokes back.  Danny Nelson finished at 2-under-par.
