Savannah fell behind 8-0 before plating 4 runs in the 5th inning but it wasn't enough as the Augusta GreenJackets beat the Sand Gnats 12-6 at Historic Grayson Stadium Thursday night.
The Gnats and Jackets will play game two of their four game series Friday night at 7 p.m.
