JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say Jacksonville Jaguars
player Richard Collier has been shot and is facing life-threatening
injuries.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says Collier and former Jags
player Kenneth Pettway were outside an apartment waiting for some
women they met at a club when a gunman shot into their car early
Tuesday.
Sheriff's spokesman Ken Jefferson says Collier was shot several
times but it's not clear where he was injured. He was transported
to a local hospital.
The reason behind the attack is also unclear. The sheriff's
office continues to investigate.
