The Savannah State University football team is readying to hit the practice field for the first time in Fall camp. Tuesday night head coach Robby Wells held a full-team meeting to set the record straight and lay out his expectations for the upcoming season.

The Tigers finished the 2008 season with a 5-6 record. Expectations are much higher in Coach Wells second year. SSU opens up on the road at Livingstone September 5th. They'll host Alabama State on the 12th of August in the first of five home games at Ted Wright Stadium.
