Jenkins Grad Patrick and Toombs County Grad Eason Get Set for Super Bowl

WSAV-TV is proud to be the home of Super Bowl XVIII. Former Jenkins High School star Ben Patrick and former Toombs County High School star Nick Eason will suit up for the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers respectively.

Patrick caught a 2-point conversion attempt to put the Cardinals up by seven points late in the NFC Championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Patrick starred at Delaware college his final year and spent the previous three with the Duke Blue Devils.

Eason was drafted by the Denver Broncos but suffered an injury to make it a rough start in the NFL. He spent three years with the Cleveland Browns before landing in Pittsburgh prior to this season.
