Keenan Ready scored 21 points Tuesday night to lead the Groves Rebels past Lovejoy 72-48 in the second round of the Georgia High School Association playoffs. Brandon Mobley scored 19 points, several of them on dunks. The Rebels have won 27 consecutive games and lost only one all season long.

Liberty County was on the brink of moving to the Elite 8 only to have their season come to an end on a 3-pointer by Dougherty at the buzzer. The Panthers lose 59-58. Jordan McRae had 37 points while Williams Arabian led Dougherty with 19 and Gaines McArthur scored 18.
Benedictine was overwhelmed down at Thomasville 70-44.
Glynn Academy lost to North Clayton 61-59.
