Savannah Christian Preparatory School Senior, Caitlyn Cook, will sign a letter of intent to play golf for Shorter College on Friday, March 19th. Caitlyn will not only be receiving a full tuition athletic scholarship, but she will also receive The Presidential Scholarship for Academics. Please join us at 2:00 p.m. in the Weeks Media Center on the Chatham Parkway campus to celebrate this exciting time with Caitlyn, her family and friends.
This four- year letterman athlete has had great success at Savannah Christian including receiving the “Coach’s Award” her sophomore year as well as “Most Valuable Player” her junior year. Caitlyn was also a member of the All-State Team in Georgia and placed third in last year’s state tournament. Last summer Caitlyn was recognized as “Player of the Year” for Savannah Junior Golf.

· Member of two Region Championship teams
· Headmaster’s Award - freshman year
· “Volunteer of the Year” for the First Tee of Savannah
· Invited to the Wal-Mart First Tee Invitational the past two summers
· Selected for Team Savannah - freshman and junior years
· Placed 10th at State individually - sophomore year in AA
· Personal bests: 83 at the State Tournament and 79 in Savannah Junior Golf
Caitlyn said she chose Shorter College because she can play a sport that she loves and was looking for a small, Christian school to attend this fall. She is Savannah Christian’s only athlete to sign with Shorter College this year. Caitlyn is the daughter of Todd and Gaye Cook.
