Georgia Southern beats Savannah State 48-3

Georgia Southern opened the Jeff Monken era with a convincing 48-3 win over Savannah State at Paulson Stadium in Statesboro.

The Eagles rushing for 431 yards and six touchdowns.  GSU's defense totally shutting down the Tigers and holding them to 172 yards of total offense.
