Wilmington Island Club head professional Patrick Richardson has been hosting the tournament since 1999. He's seen it grow to become an amateur event within the "Amateur points system". It's the Oglethorpe Invitational and it's set to tee off this Friday.

The 29th Annual Oglethorpe Invitational has truly become a staple on the amateur circuit in and around Savannah. This year 16 States and 7 countries will be represented by players hoping to rack up points.
The tournament begins Friday morning and runs through Sunday.
