Savannah High jumped out to a 9-0 lead to start the game... only to see Johnson tie it up at 9 and slowly build a lead en route to a 64-55 win.
The Atomsmashers have given the Blue Jackets both their losses this season. Johnson improves to 17-4 while SHS falls to 18-2.
Abidjan Davis had a big first half, including hitting a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give Johnson a 29-21 lead at intermission. Davis ended with 20 points. Tim Quarterman hit two quick 3-pointers in the 3rd quarter and the Smashers built an insurmountable lead.
Several fans were turned away and waited outside of the sold-out Sol Johnson High School to find out the final results.
