The Department of Homeland Security is rolling out a new pilot program that will collect fingerprints from international travelers.
Officials unveiled the new biometric system Monday at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia.
The digital system will collect fingerprints from foreign travelers leaving the United States.
Transportation Security officials say the pilot program will help them prevent people from using fraudulent documents to enter the country illegally.
Officials have also set up a biometric program at an airport in Detroit, Michigan.
