Heavy rain continues to fall across the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry. All of the area is under a flood warning, advisory, or watch of some kind through Friday morning. Here a few of the rain reports we've seen today...

Heavy rain continues to fall across the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry. All of the area is under a flood warning, advisory, or watch of some kind through Friday morning. Here a few of the rain reports we've seen today:

At 6:30 pm: Springfield, GA (Effingham Co.) 4.15" of total rain since Wednesday
At 6:13 pm: 1 mile SSE of Rincon, GA (Effingham Co.) 2.33" in the last 11 hours
At 4:45 pm: Darien, GA (McIntosh Co.) 3 to 4" of standing water in the parking lot of Fort King George historic site
At 3:37 pm: Ludowici, GA (Long Co.) several dirt roads flooded
At 3:00 pm: Metter, GA (Candler Co.) 5.80" this week...numerous creeks out of banks and several dirt roads flooded
