Storm Moves Out, Damage Left Behind

» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

On Wednesday, a powerful storm system hit the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry. Nearly all of us saw rain, but some of us saw much more.

Storm Reports:
1. Bristol of Appling County, a possible tornado hit the area. Two people were injured, and several homes were destroyed.
2. Alma of Bacon County, three chicken houses were destroyed
3. Several reports of downed trees and funnel clouds
4. Some locations picked up more than 3 inches of rain

The storm system is now gone tonight, and quiet weather will take its place.

On Thursday, we will begin our day with mostly cloudy skies, but skies should clear for the rest of the day. Highs will reach the lower to mid 60s.

On Thursday night, expect colder conditions. Under partly cloudy to mostly clear skies, we will drop to lows in the 40s.

Enjoy the calm weather pattern!
