From the National Weather Service in Charleston...
A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect from Friday morning through Friday evening for the following counties: Candler, Bulloch, Effingham, Tattnall, Evans, Bryan, Chatham, Long, Liberty, McIntosh, Jasper, Beaufort and coastal Colleton.
A developing low pressure system will move out of the eastern Gulf of Mexico and up the southeast coast Friday and Friday night. Widespread rain should spread across the watch area late tonight or Friday morning and continue into Friday evening before tapering off.
Portions of the area have already received between 2 and 5 inches of rain during the last week. Another 1 to 2 inches is expected on Friday with localized totals of 3 inches possible.
Flooding will definitely be a concern. Also, tides will be running above normal on Friday.

A Flood Watch is in effect from late tonight through Friday evening for the following counties: Coffee, Jeff Davis, Bacon, Appling and Wayne.
Widespread rains are expected to develop across the watch area late tonight and persist through Friday evening. Rainfall amounts during this event will average between 2 and 3 inches with locally heavier amounts possible.
The ground in these areas is nearly saturated. In addition, minor flooding is already occurring along portions of the Altamaha River.
Additional flooding near the Altamaha River is possible along with low-land flooding.
