A freeze warning is in effect for Coffee, Jeff Davis, Bacon, Appling, Wayne, Atkinson, Ware, Pierce, Brantley, Tattnall, and Evans Counties in southeastern Georgia from midnight Sunday to 9 am Monday.
High pressure will provide clear skies and diminishing winds across the area Sunday night; allowing temperatures to drop to or just below freezing for 3-5 hours prior to and around sunrise on Monday. Widespread frost is also likely in these areas.
A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill sensitive vegetation.
