A frost advisory is in effect for Coffee, Jeff Davis, Bacon, Appling, Wayne, Ware, Pierce, Brantley, Atkinson, Glynn, Coastal Bryan, Coastal Chatham, Coastal Liberty, and McIntosh Counties in southeastern Georgia as well as for Beaufort, Coastal Colleton, and Coastal Jasper Counties in South Carolina from midnight Monday night to 9 am Tuesday.
Mostly clear skies and diminishing winds will support low temperatures tonight and Tuesday morning that range from 33 degrees inland from the immediate coast, to the mid to upper 30s along the coastline. As a result, scattered frost will develop.
A frost advisory means that frost is possible. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
