A Freeze Watch is in effect from late Monday night through Tuesday morning for the following counties: coastal Bryan, coastal Chatham, coastal Liberty, McIntosh, Beaufort, coastal Colleton, and coastal Jasper Counties.
High pressure will provide clear skies and diminishing winds across the region Monday night. This will result in the potential for freezing temperatures across much of south coastal South Carolina and north coastal Georgia. Temperatures at or below freezing are possible for up to 3 to 5 hours Monday night into Tuesday morning, even along the immediate coast.
Also, patchy to scattered frost could develop. Take care of the pets and plants!
