Well, tonight must be our night. Rain chances are looking lower and lower.
For this New Year's Eve, a disturbance is still moving through the area, but the rain showers have really backed off. So...look for mostly cloudy skies and a few isolated rain showers. At midnight, expect temperatures to be in the lower to mid 50s. Then after that, we will drop to lows in the 40s.
On Friday for New Year's Day, another little disturbance will move through, and this could set off a few rain showers. If it does rain, it will be light rain. Then later in the day, drier and much colder air will return. Highs will reach the lower to mid 50s.
On Friday night, skies will clear and temperatures will drop drastically. We will see lows in the upper 20s to the mid 30s.
Over the weekend, expect sunny skies but highs only in the 40s! Lows will drop to the 20s!!!!
Happy New Year, Stay Safe and Keep Looking Up!
